Neli Moody is a writer and a lecturer at San Jose State
University. After Altamira, published by Ishmael Reed
Publishing Company, is her first published collection. The
poems address widely diverse subjects with passion and
trace our efforts as humans to connect with each other,
through words, art and music. They are grounded in the deep
and intricate relationship between humans and the earth.
